Intermediate

The S-25 microphone combines an upgraded version of the Schoeps CMC5 circuit with a beautiful-sounding capsule. The resulting mic is excellent on many sources, from vocals to guitars to drums. You can hear Greg Wells bragging about them in an interview with Eric Valentine on Youtube. This DIY kit is suitable for beginners, although we recommend having prior soldering experience. The build time for beginners is 2-4 hours.
